Ethics & Implicit Bias presented by Alan Lowell Seminars

Continuing Educational Unit Module for Hearing Healthcare Professionals (2-hour credit)

Great project to research, create and present this 2-hour seminar on Ethics

and Implicit Bias.

Thank you, Alan Lowell, for this learning opportunity.

Presently, this topic is being converted into other learning modules. More to come.

Bias is defined as a preference, positive
or negative towards a person, place, thing,
or group. Much literature states that it
is a normal part of brain function.

However, when it interferes with the analysis and healthcare decisions, a problem arises.

Ethics & Implicit Bias

In this video, Dr. Marlene Wolf discusses ethics and implicit bias, including information and decision-making that people make daily. Critical thinking skills as well as communication tips are shared.

You will become more engaged, educated, and empowered by listening to this workshop. Bring these pertinent ideas to your club. Watch as your audience not only embraces the moment but thrives.
